Cruisin’ The Kuz

All aboard the MSS Kuzonator! Next stop: US Open!

If we all take the time to remember the last time Sveta put together a huge run, we all might remember a clay season where, well, only two players mattered. Her, and Dinara Safina. That was the clay season last year. We all know how that ended.

This isn’t exactly a huge run or anything, but it is the first final for Kuz, and if she was able to win the whole thing against a wickedly consistent A-Rad, that would be a big deal. She’s also got Masha in Cincy, which is a huge litmus test as to where her game is right now. I hope you’re all taking notes.

  1. Kuzi has an awesome game when she’s on, love watching her. The girl can hit a ball like no one else and has AMAZING court sense, which is rather rare in WTA. So glad she’a a contender again, let’s hope she can keep it up, cause I’m in dire need for some excitement *in a good way* on the WTA!

Miracles! You’re spot on about the Kuzanator. But remember this, her win loss ratio in finals is abysmal. Sveta’s tennis career mirror’s a yo yo dieter.

Dearg! Nice to see you, thanks for the comment :)

And yeah, gotta love that, eh? Somehow pulls out two slam wins anyway (though her record in slam finals is still at .500)

It’s been a real treat to not only watch Sveta play up close this week but attend her press conferences. She’s just as “hang loose” and yet candid as always. But I’ve never seen Aggie run down so many balls in my life. Hope it’s a good final.

Gstaad is an area that is connected with high-class in terms of holiday destinations. This picture polaroid commune is placed in some of the absolute best surroundings found while offering quite a lot of things you can do.
