“Tennis isn’t really an elitist sport anymore.” “Dude, the Queen has her own tournament.” “…well played.”
Quite the field, and quite the extensive draw as per usual. If you thought Rafa was dead set on getting that RG title back, well I’d expect the same for Wimbledon, especially because grass isn’t his best surface. This is where the fun will begin. A Muzz/Rafa semi is in the works, which would be pretty exciting. Marin might do some damage too. The other half is a bit weaker, with Dick likely to come out of it, though it’ll be interested to see if Sammy Q can do some damage, he’s got the serve. The motivation, on the other hand, I have no idea. Should be a great way to kick off the jarring surface change.

Top Seeds: Fed, Kolya, Youz, JCF
For those who don’t know, Fed has signed a deal to play this tournament for the rest of his playing career. He pulled out of it last year after winning the French. So… you do the math. And Kolya is back! But seriously, total cake walk of a tiny draw for Fed.

Should be interesting to see if Masha brings the heat this grass season. She’ll be pumped to be off clay and will be looking for more success than a first round exit at Wimbledon. This should be a good indication inside a solid draw.
Nice pic of Masha! Really softens her up.
Masha’s game looked great in Paris. If it had been grass, I think she would have beaten JuJu. Well, her transition and net game are still have a lot of room for improvement but I think she’s in the tier of “don’t be surprised if she wins the whole thing”.
I’d agree. She was absolutely hammering the ball. Obviously a little wild at times, and the double faults and what not, but can definitely be deadly on grass again.
