Weapons: GINORMOUS serve, improving net game, huge forehand.
Weaknesses: Relies a bit on kick and height on the serve, net game can still let him down, effing tall, not tested on grass.
Sure, he has only ever played one Wimbledon match ever, and lost to Ernie. And it was back in 2008. But Tree’s game has come a long way since then, and he is so much more than just a “serve big and hope for the best” kind of guy. While his serve won’t work as well as someone like Ivo on grass, (he kicks it sometimes and relies a bit more on height) his huge serve is still a gigantic asset. Furthermore, his net game is improving, and his forehand is becoming a huge weapon. So not only can he serve through opponents, he can hit through them if he needs to. There’s a chance that Tree might not do much, but in my eye, he has the game to be billed as a darkhorse.
